About Bethany

I began decorating cakes about

ineteen

years ago at a local grocery

store

bakery.

The following

summer I took

a formal cake

decorating class

at a

igh

chool in

Nashville. According

to my

mother,

that was "the best

$35

she

ever

spent on me."

Over the next several years I

worked

closely with my mother,

who is a

wedding

consultant and

caterer

, and

husband

, who is a photographer.

In 2001,

husband's job relocated

us to

Rochester, Minnesota.

Being

displaced and away

from my family,

I wasn't sure I wanted to continue

the wedding business.

After getting settled in Rochester, I

found myself decorating again and in

2003, I

established Beautiful Cakes and

Bridals.

I completed a

Bridal

Consulting

Diploma program in the Spring of 2005

and

m currently a

member of

the Association of Bridal Consultants

(ABC)

. I

have previously been a member of

the International Cake Exploration

Societe (ICES)

Membership

these

organizations

keeps me trained and

current with

wedding and

special

event

trends.

have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology

from Vanderbilt

University

My degree and

management experience has given

me great resources for

running

this

business.

My goal is to provide excellent customer service in a

friendly,

relaxed,

professional atmosphere. I always

want my

customers to come first. If I

unable to

provide goods or

services, I have a reliable network of

trusted

providers that I

can refer customers to. You will
